About Chrome Delete
Factory chrome trim was a 1990s status signal. Today it dates almost any car, truck, or SUV — and the easiest way to modernize a vehicle is to make it disappear. Chrome delete uses precision-cut 3M™ vinyl in satin or gloss black to cover window surrounds, B-pillars, door handles, badges, grille slats, mirror caps, and lower trim. Done well, the result reads as a higher-trim factory option, not an aftermarket mod.
Our chrome delete process starts by masking and prepping each chrome surface, then dry-fitting plotter-cut pieces (or hand-cutting trim where required) before final install. Edges are wrapped where possible so the original chrome is fully hidden, not just covered. We can do as little as window trim only or take a vehicle fully blacked out — pillars, badges, exhaust tips, and grille included.
Chrome delete pairs especially well with a color-change wrap or factory black/white/gray paint that the chrome currently fights against.
